TREASURY SECRETARY PAULSON BUYS JAPANESE MONEY MACHINE

During Bush's first term, discretionary spending grew by 48.4 percent. Considering that the increase resulting from Lyndon Johnson's so-called "Great Society" programs was only 48.3 percent, President Bush has officially become the biggest spender in presidential history. Despite the always cheerful news from the Bush administration, Americans are now experiencing the painful results that come from having a president who lacks the discipline to just say no.

Seventy years ago the U.S. dollar was backed by gold. one paper dollar represented one dollar's worth of gold in Ft. Knox. In the 40's, the gold was replaced by silver. Today, our government is counterfeiting mony......printing dollars backed by nothing.
