Kevin Rudd has announced the details of the third stimulus plan to help the Australian economy and all the Aussie Battlers.
Kevin's new bright idea once again revolves around getting money to the people so they can spend it on Plasma TVs and other essential lifestyle goods.
Kevid Rudd announced, "We are looking at making Monopoly money legal tender in Australia. This is a fantastic idea, because it cuts costs. We were considering printing more real Australian dollars and giving them out. We also considered making a high quality copy available and telling the Australian public to print out as many $100 notes as they liked to cut down our costs. But every Australian family has a copy of Monopoly, so we figure, why not make use of this. I thinks it's a brilliant idea. I'd like to claim it as my own, but all credit must really go to little Jimmy in 5th grade at that school I was at the other day. Good on you Jimmy, doing Australia proud."
Harvey Norman is said to be ecstatic, "I think Monopoly is a great game. I love a great game of monopoly and I'm happy that I may now be the biggest Monopoly winner ever when we have our, "Upgrade your Plasma you bought with your stimulus package money to a high quality LCD TV with Blue Ray player" sale to celebrate.
Sony, Samsung and other non Australian companies were not available for comment, because they were throwing a party to celebrate another Australian stimulus package that in reality stimulated their own bank accounts.
